
Brent Platt - President and Founder
Brent has built his company and his reputation by delivering
exceptional personal service. This approach has proven to be successful based

professional standards and is dedicated to providing the most trustworthy
mortgage advice to satisfy the varied needs of all customers.

Kelly Farris - VP, Underwriting Manager
Kelly Farris has been involved in the mortgage industry in one way or another for nearly 20 years. Kelly has held virtually all positions within the loan process. Beginning her career as a receptionist in a mortgage office, she moved into processing, drawing loan documents, funding, shipping and eventually became an originator’s assistant. In 1995, Kelly earned her underwriting credentials that enabled her to advance her career in this area. Kelly has worked with Brent Platt since 1991, even before he created Millennium Mortgage. She has been instrumental in helping Brent develop his company into the success it is today.

Veronica Lopez - VP, Wholesale / Broker Operations
Veronica joined Millennium Mortgage in 2001 and has worked her way up quickly in the company. She began as an assistant to the President and gained a great deal of knowledge in a short period of time. Prior to Veronica joining the company, Millennium had primarily been a retail mortgage operation. Veronica started a wholesale division from the ground floor and today it comprises 50% of the business volume. Her efforts have been critical in helping Millennium develop into the success it is today.

Michael Sherry - Director of Secondary Marketing
Mike has 25 years of lending experience encompassing all aspects of the mortgage banking business. He has managed all secondary marketing activities for several mortgage banking operations. His extensive experience includes, subprime product management, loan product pricing, rate lock activity, investor commitment management and state compliance activities.
Mike graduated from U.C.L.A. with a BS in Business Administration and specialization in Construction Management and Real Estate. He holds a California Real Estate Broker's license and a California General Building Contractor's license. Mike is a past member of the Capital Markets committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America.

John Lieser - Compliance Officer
John joined Millennium in October of 2000. Prior to coming to Millennium Mortgage he
spent two years working with American Express Financial Advisors. At Millennium he works with the Compliance of
loan packages and creates reports that are required by all the correspondents
in regards to volume in loan numbers, type of loans, and dollar volume. He deals with the Department of Corporations as
to yearly reports, adding new offices and various reports required during the
year. He handles all the reporting for
HUD which is the HMDA reporting (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act).

Monica Cardenas - Controller
Monica joined Millennium Mortgage Corp in 2001, with four years of experience in various accounting departments. She began as MMC’s bookkeeper and after five years of being with the company and gaining a great deal of knowledge about the mortgage industry, became MMC’s Controller. She is responsible for all the accounting and finance functions of MMC.

Carol Lieser - HR Director
Carol
joined MMC in January of 2006. She began
as the Executive Assistant to the President, a position she continues to hold,
and quickly assumed the responsibilities of Human Resources Director. Before
coming to Millennium, Carol was the Director of Conventions and Conferences for
a major healthcare Foundation. After
being a Legal Secretary for several years she began her own medical/legal
transcription service. Carol’s
professional background as a Certified Meeting Professional, Legal Secretary
and her entrepreneurial experience are all advantages to MMC’s productivity,
operating quality and business growth.

Carlos Calixto - Branch Manager
Carlos Calixto began his career in the mortgage banking industry eight years ago with Brent Platt, now owner of Millennium Mortgage. After just five years in the industry, Carlos left Millennium Mortgage to open a small branch of Home Savings Mortgage. Within two years, Carlos grew his office in Cathedral City, California of just five people to an office of 20 people. He also opened a branch in Temecula, California. Now, Carlos is back with the family of Millennium Mortgage where he is operating under the branch name United Mortgage Solution and managing a staff of 40 people.

Julie Myers Bruun - Branch Manager
Julie is Millennium Mortgage's Solana Beach Branch Manager in San Diego County. Julie joined Millennium in 2000 and has 15 years of lending experience as a residential and commercial mortgage banker. She also holds a California Real Estate License. Julie and her team work together to ensure a smooth and pleasant transaction from contract to closing. Their experience, knowledge and commitment to providing professional service make the mortgage process easy and enjoyable. Because Julie's team focuses on putting the customer FIRST, they maintain a strong referral base of satisfied customers and continue to be top producers in the company.

Ileana Farias - Los Angeles Wholesale Division Manager (Alt A and Non-Prime)
Ileana is responsible for overseeing the wholesale operations of Millennium Mortgage's Mission Hills Branch. Ileana has held a variety of positions with the loan process during her career in mortgage banking. In 1996, she began as a junior loan coordinator and processor. From 1997 to 2000, she worked in several operational roles in secondary marketing and wholesale account management. In 2001, Ileana came on board with Millennium Mortgage to create and oversee a new branch. Ileana and her team work together to provide exceptional customer service.
